Hi I’m Mel and I photograph FAB, FRESH and FIERCE clients. I am passionate about photography and most of all I am dedicated to giving clients images that will last a lifetime. I am a natural light shooter, however I am no dabbling a bit with studio lighting as a new offering for my business. That said the majority of my business will still be in the basque and beauty of AU NATURALE lighting. I offer custom photography for your life & STYLE. (You can read more about that on the site) I live in Tiffin, Ohio–not quite the beach I planned but a great place be! ;) I am married to the most amazing man on the planet Chad. We live with our two dogs Bailey (my doggie soulmate), Kobe (who has Chad wrapped around his finger) and our cat Lucky (who definitely thinks she owns us all). I am surrounded by amazing family and friends and I have more blessings in my life then I deserve.

My style is unique and like an AH-MAZING piece of bling has many facets. The predominant side of my style is high fashion and editorial. I have always had interest in fashion (seriously ask my parents it has been since birth) and bringing and editorial edge to my images is part and parcel of what I do. The other side to my style is candid and personal. When I shoot a lifeSTYLE session with a family or engaged couple I enjoy really capturing moments that reflect who they are as people. Sometimes those moments might fall into my fashion side where the client looks like they belong in a magazine and minutes later I find myself capturing a candid moment between siblings or a couple in LOVE and when those moments come I swoon with excitement. I long to find the life behind the image. I adore vintage, whimsical, nostalgic images that remind us of days gone by and I also appreciate modern and current images that push the envelope of something new and edgy. My photography style (much like my personal style) is a mixture of those two worlds. Like anything else in life everyone has their own preference and bent towards what they are drawn to. If you are drawn to my images it probably means we should be working together! :) I working with all kinds of people from various walks of life. My camera is my partner and together we work hard to capture images that appreciate in value over time. I want each and every client to feel the rockSTAR experience. I BELIEVE each and every person should have beautiful images of themselves, their children, their parents, their moments, their LIFE. Life is all about the details and I am very focused on those subtle details that make each and every photograph something to remember.
